Golfpark Klopeinersee

Against the backdrop of the Southern Alps and in close proximity to Lake Klopeinersee lies Golfpark Klopeinersee-Southern Carinthia. Gentle hills, meadows, and forests shape the surroundings, giving the 18-hole course a pleasantly natural character.

The 18-hole panoramic golf course runs through lightly contoured, park-like terrain. The individual holes range from 134 to 504 meters in length and offer varied challenges with water hazards, doglegs, and diverse bunker landscapes. The course is suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers who wish to play strategically and utilize their short game under changing conditions.

A special feature is the long golfing season in Southern Carinthia. Play continues as long as there is no snow and course conditions permit. This makes Klopeinersee an appealing golf destination especially in spring and autumn.

Training facilities are also extensive. The spacious driving range with covered tees is complemented by a putting green, pitching area, practice bunker, and chipping green. Additionally, the Performance Academy offers targeted training to improve technique and game strategy.

After the round, the clubhouse with a pro shop and the bistro “Das 19er” provide a relaxing setting overlooking the golf course. Thanks to its location, a round can be perfectly combined with a stay at Lake Klopeinersee or a longer golf trip through the Alpe-Adria region.

Our impression: Golfpark Klopeinersee combines an accessible parkland course with beautiful scenery and an unusually long season for the region. Particularly attractive is the combination of Southern Alps panorama, extensive training opportunities, and proximity to Lake Klopeinersee – a straightforward golf destination for a single round as well as for several days of golf in Southern Carinthia.
