Golf Meggen

Just a few minutes from Lucerne, Golf Meggen combines golf with an exceptional view of Lake Lucerne and the Central Swiss mountain range. The facility was developed on approximately 52 hectares of former agricultural land and deliberately designed as a public sports and recreational area.

The centerpiece is the 9-hole course with a par of 37 and a length of 3,046 meters. It is complemented by a 6-hole short course, a driving range with Toptracer Range, a pitching area, and a putting green. This setup offers attractive options for both a quick round and for training or starting out in golf.

A special feature is the integration of golf and nature. Around 28 hectares of the site remain under ecological agricultural management without fertilization. This aims to preserve the characteristic landscape while creating space for maximum biodiversity.

Even beyond the golf course, a visit is worthwhile. The Gasthaus Badhof with restaurant and hotel makes the facility a destination that goes far beyond a classic round of golf. Walking trails and the local recreation area are also open to visitors who do not play golf themselves.

Our impression: The true attraction of Golf Meggen is its location. The view over Lake Lucerne, onto Lucerne city, and the foothills of the Alps accompanies the round and gives this relatively compact course a special character. Combined with the short course, modern training facilities, gastronomy, and hotel, Golf Meggen is ideal for an uncomplicated golf day in Central Switzerland.
